Personnel

Senior Credit BASELine management consist of Steve Parton, Andrew Dodd, and Mike Oswald who combine to contribute extensive experience in banking, specifically in credit and risk management with a focus on the impact of Basel II and likely subsequent developments.


Steve Parton B.Comm, MBA, CA - Managing Director

Steve is a joint founder of Credit BASELine Pty Ltd. He is a current director of Credit Baseline and has been running a financial advisory business focusing on credit risk and capital management issues as well as large scale infrastructure project finance in Australia for over ten years.

Previously Steve was a Chief Manager with Westpac in Sydney, and had major roles in treasury risk management and finance in Westpac and Bank of America Australia.

Andrew Dodd - Director, Asia-Pacific and Training

Andrew’s original background in banking and credit was with Fuji Bank in a special lending unit, followed by the role of Regional Asia Pacific Director of UK-based consulting firms DC Gardner and BPP.  He was then VP of Asia Pacific for Moody’s KMV for over eight years, before taking on roles with equity IT base firms Paritech and Corporate Scorecard in Australia.

He has extensive experience in credit training using leading-edge credit management tools, especially through Asia Pacific region. He is currently based in Hong Kong.

Mike Oswald, MAppFin - Director, Australia Business Development

Mike is a joint founder of Credit BASELine Pty Ltd. He was the CEO of the CreditLink Group, and a former director PricewaterhouseCoopers Risk Services practice. Mike has a powerful understanding of risk and capital markets built during 30 years of financial sector experience.

Mike was Head of Capital Markets at BankSA, based in both Australia and London, with responsibilities for raising over $5bn in long dated debt instruments and private placements.
